Our VeterinariansDr. Alan W. Scott is a graduate of the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine. Originally from Greenville, he completed an internship in Kentucky before joining the Gainesville Veterinary Hospital in 1994. Now the hospital's principal owner, he streamlined its focus to facilitate its care of the region's family pets. Dr. Scott is married with three sons, a dog, several cats and numerous fish. |
Dr. J. Huey Ford is an Alabama native and graduated from Auburn University's School of Veterinary Medicine. Following service in the US Air Force where he provided care for military working dogs, he joined the Gainesville Veterinary Hospital in 1984. Active in the Boy Scout program, Dr. Ford is married with four children, four cats, three dogs, a herd of cattle and various small pocket pets. |
